Along with the unit additions, many current units gain upgrades that bring them closer to their codex counterparts. Each of the seven factions gains a unit or units that brings it in line with the 5th edition rule book, which was current at the time of the mod’s release. And, for the most part, it does that very well.
Originally released around 2010, “Firestorm Over Kronus” (now merged with “Firestorm Over Kaurava for “Dawn of War: Soulstorm” and retitled “Purgation of Kaurava”) is a total overhaul mod for “Dawn of War: Dark Crusade” that seeks to completely overhaul the game in order to bring it closer to Games Workshop’s beloved tabletop.
